Garland & Thelma May Scholarship Fund

Description:

The Garland & Thelma May Scholarship Fund was established by Mr. Garland May of Harrodsburg, Kentucky to provide scholarship assistance to deserving students from Mercer County, Kentucky. Grants may be used for educational expenses at any grade level, and may be used for any courses of study that will advance the recipient's skills or educational level.

This scholarship is for up to $1,000.00 and is renewable should the recipient meet the renewal eligibility requirements. The number of scholarships granted will depend upon the funds available.

Eligibility:

Resident of Mercer County, Kentucky
Academic competence
Demonstrate financial need
Preference given to applicants attending a Kentucky school
