Mason Family Foundation Scholarship Fund

Description:

Established by Anne Mason Scott, a descendant of one of the founders of Lewisport, Kentucky, to assist graduating high school seniors in Hancock County, Kentucky, who without financial support, would not be able to pursue a post-secondary form of education. The scholarship may be awarded for a maximum of four consecutive years to qualified applicants who meet the renewal eligibility requirements. The number of scholarships granted will depend upon the funds available for awards.

Eligibility:

Resident of Hancock County, Kentucky
Graduating senior from a school in Hancock County, Kentucky
Cumulative 3.5 GPA
Actively involved in community service
Preference given to the applicant attending a college or university
Preference given to the applicant with the greatest financial need

Award Amount:

Up to amount equivalent to that charged at KY public postsecondary institutions
