Steve Hughes Memorial Scholarship

Description:

The Steve Hughes Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 1997 by Judy Hughes to provide scholarship assistance to residents of Daviess County, Kentucky who are graduating seniors of Owensboro County High School. Steve Hughes spent 30 years working in the Owensboro Independent School System, where he started his career as a teacher and was appointed assistant superintendent just before his death. One scholarship will be awarded annually. This scholarship is not renewable.

Eligibility:

Resident of Daviess County, Kentucky
Graduating senior from Owensboro County High School, Kentucky
Enrolled to attend a college, university, or junior college
Cumulative 2.5 GPA
Demonstrate financial need
