Charles A. Reid Memorial Scholarship Fund for Brescia University

Description:

The Charles A. Reid Memorial Scholarship Fund for Brescia University was established by Mrs. Majorie Reid in loving memory of her husband. Mr. Reid was very involved in the Owensboro community and served on the Owensboro-Daviess County Community Foundation (currently the Green River Area Community Foundation) for several years. Mr. Reid was concerned about the Owensboro Community, children's education, and was particularly fond of Brescia University.

This scholarship will award one grant annually to a graduating senior in any high school from Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, McLean, McCracken, Warren and Webster Counties in Kentucky who will attend Brescia University. The amount of the award is dependent upon funds available. This scholarship is not renewable.

Eligibility:

Graduating high school senior from Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, McLean, or Webster Counties in Kentucky
Cumulative 3.0 GPA
Enrolled to attend Brescia University in the fall semester following graduation
Preference given to applicants who demonstrate financial need

Minimum of $500.00
